29th Foster's Run Dylan and I went back to Mudd this year for his 11th consecutive Foster's Run (there and back) on Saturday, April 2nd. I think there were 18 uncyclists total, 3 first timers, 5 two-way riders, and the alums might have outnumbered the students again. There was a successful trip through the McDonald's drive-thru (after years of failed attempts). One of the return riders made in back in 58 minutes on the 36" wheel. According to Donut Man Jim, he's been giving out fresh strawberry doughnuts to persistent unicyclists since 1976. For next year's 30th Anniversary (April 1, 2006 - no joke!) he's planning to make Gonzo Unicycle Madness a big banner and would like to have big turnout. Dylan will be back again for sure to uphold his record and Dave's only two years behind. How many more alums do you think we could get to return? (6 Comments |Comment on this)
